For teams in Los Angeles: see how our live Zoom sessions work for Santa Monica, Burbank, Pasadena, and nearby.

A Los Angeles team rarely sits in one building. Someone is in Santa Monica, someone is in Burbank, and someone is on a call from Long Beach. Getting everyone across town for an afternoon event can eat more time than the event itself.

The Virtual Office Shenanigans Game brings the team together on Zoom instead. It is a 60-minute game that I host live. Nobody drives, nobody installs an app, and everybody plays.

  • Live on Zoom, joined from the office or from home
  • 60 minutes, weekdays 7am to 7pm Pacific
  • 10 to 50 people, and everyone gets a turn
  • $300 for up to 10 people, plus $25 per additional person
  • Rated 4.9 out of 5 from 4,819 reviews

What Happens in the Hour

I plan and run every game, so the organizer just forwards the Zoom link. Each round is short and quick to explain, and no one performs alone.

  1. Welcome and Vocal Warm-Up: everyone talks in the first five minutes, including the quiet ones.
  2. Theme Song Silent Disco: a fast, silly round that gets cameras on and people laughing.
  3. Super Hero Copy Cat: the group watches and mirrors, so attention stays on the screen.
  4. Whoosh, Bang, Pow: a passing game where you have to track who sends it to whom.
  5. Slow Motion Fast Ball and Halloween Costume Character: two closing rounds that build on each other.
  6. Celebration wrap: the team leaves on a high note, on time.

The full run of show is on the game page.

Built for How Los Angeles Teams Work

LA teams are spread out, and the 405 and the 10 do not care about your meeting calendar. A Zoom session starts and ends on time and fits inside a workday, whether people are at a desk downtown or at home in the Valley.

  • Entertainment and media teams in Burbank, Hollywood, and Culver City who pitch, riff, and build on ideas all day
  • Aerospace and engineering teams in El Segundo and the South Bay who rarely get a break from heads-down work
  • Tech teams on the Westside, in Santa Monica and Playa Vista, with colleagues in other states
  • Healthcare teams from Downtown to Long Beach whose schedules make in-person events hard to land

We host teams across Santa Monica, Burbank, Pasadena, Culver City, Glendale, Long Beach, El Segundo, Downtown LA, Hollywood, and Sherman Oaks.

Five Warm-Up Games to Try Before You Book

Want a taste first? Run these at the start of a team meeting. Keep the whole set under 35 minutes and stop each game while people still want more.

  1. Last Word Relay (5 minutes, 4 to 12 people): each person starts their sentence with the last word of the sentence before.
  2. Yes, But / Yes, And (8 minutes, groups of 2 or 3): plan a silly team outing twice, first answering every idea with “yes, but,” then with “yes, and.” Compare the two plans.
  3. Five-Second Expert (6 minutes): give someone an absurd topic. They start talking within five seconds and keep going for thirty.
  4. Gift Giving (5 minutes, pairs): one person mimes handing over a gift, the other names it with enthusiasm and says thanks.
  5. Three-Line Scene (8 minutes, pairs): two people set up a whole situation in three lines while everyone else watches.

These make a good warm-up. For more in this format, see improv games for team building. The hosted game is the full hour, planned and run for you.

What Teams Say

Here is how Aileen, who organized a session for her team, put it:

“We have been complete with the event for less than 10 minutes and already each and every participant has reached out to me thanking me for setting up such a fun experience. Scott did an amazing job.”

Questions From Los Angeles Teams

Is this an in-person event in Los Angeles? No. Sessions run live on Zoom, so people join from wherever they are working that day.

Does anyone need acting or improv experience? No. Every game is explained in under a minute, and quieter people take part without being put on the spot.

What does it cost? $300 for up to 10 people, plus $25 per additional person up to 50. That covers the full 60-minute session, with no setup or platform fees. Full details are on the pricing page.
